BOCA RATON, FL – The Donna Klein Jewish Academy Eagles Booster Club & PTO Texas Hold’em Tournament and Casino Night, held Oct. 17, 2009 at the South County Civic Center in Delray Beach, was an exciting evening of “serious fun” and raised funds for the students of DKJA, athletic events, and school programs.
The event included a Texas Hold’em Tournament, casino games, raffle prize drawings, and refreshments. More than 100 guests attended.
Winners of the Texas Hold’em Tournament and their prizes were as follows:
• 1st and 2nd place winners Eric Stein and Michael Moed “chopped” the top two prizes, a $3,000 Visa gift card and 42" Flat Screen TV
• 3rd place: Dan Kassem won 100,000 Hilton Honors Points
• 4th place: Sam Lerner won two tickets to the Chris Evert/Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic
• 5th place: David Goodis won two seats in a luxury suite for a Florida Panthers hockey game
